JSX Juniors is a weekly Strength & Conditioning (S&C) fitness class that targets all aspects of physical performance. The classes are designed to be fun & inclusive, whilst supporting the group to become more athletic, guard against injuries & improve their performance at their chosen sports.
The classes are typically paid for on a monthly-basis, however, pay-as-you-go sessions are available in some cases. The first session is offered at a discounted price of just £5 to allow your child to try the session for a minimal fee before committing to further sessions.
Strength and conditioning is the physical training and conditioning of an individual, typically an athlete, to improve their overall physical performance. This often includes a combination of weightlifting, cardiovascular exercise, plyometrics, and other forms of physical training. The goal of strength and conditioning is to increase muscle strength, power, endurance, and overall fitness to improve performance in the athlete's chosen sport or activity.
Junior strength and conditioning refers to physical training and conditioning programs designed specifically for children and adolescents. Junior strength and conditioning programs typically include exercises to improve strength, power, speed, agility, and endurance, as well as flexibility and injury prevention. The goal is to improve the physical fitness and performance of young athletes, while also promoting healthy habits and reducing the risk of injury. Additionally, it is also focus on teaching proper movement pattern and proper technique of exercises.
